Everett A. Woods, 68, 1805 Seventh Ave., died Thursday at a local hospital following an extended illness.

Born on a farm near McPaul, he had resided in the Manawa and Council Bluffs areas for the past 36 years. He was a retired cement finisher.

His wife, Iola, died in 1944.

(Note: Burial was in the Thurman, Iowa cemetery)

(Cause of death was chronic obstructive pulmonary disease per Pottawattamie County, Iowa Death Record Book 30, Page 17)
