Word was received here Monday by relatives that Mrs. Everett Woods had passed away Sunday at Oakdale. She was formerly Iola Van Scyoc and lived here several years ago. She is survived by her husband, two sons and a small baby daughter, also her father, Vern Van Scyoc of Thurman. She had been in poor health for sometime.

The body of Mrs. Iola Woods, 37, Route 1, who died at Oakdale hospital near Iowa City, arrived in Council Bluffs Monday morning and was taken to the Woodring funeral home.

Mrs. Woods is survived by her husband, Everett Woods, two sons, Teddy and Jack, a daughter LaRue Ann Woods, all of Council Bluffs, and her father, Clarence Van Scyoc of Thurman.

Funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church at Thurman, with burial in the Thurman cemetery. The body will remain at Woodring’s chapel until 10 a.m. Wednesday.
