NOTED LEADER OF HOLINESS FAITH DIES SUDDENLY

TABOR. IA. April 27,- The burial Friday of REc. George Weavers, founder of Faith Home of Tabor, was attended by several hundred people from as many as five states. The deceased was known in several states where he had lived, and his fame had extended over a wide territory. Besides his widow he leaves five daughters and one son: Mrs. Belle Tooley of Hastings, Neb. Fred Weavers of Doniphan, Neb., Mrs Will Yates, Mrs. Fred Hurst, both of Doninhan, Neb. Mrs. L.B. Worcester and Mrs, John Hess of Tabor. IA. Twenty one years ago, deceased bought a tract of forty acres in the town of Tabor, which he had incorporated under the name of "The Hepsibah Faith Missionary Association," Here he lived with many others of the Holiness people, whose cause he had espoused. This organization maintains today besides their church, a day school of four rooms, in which religious as well as secular teaching is imparted to the 100 or more students. Nearby is the orphanage that accommodates from fifteen to twenty five destitute children. The Holiness people own their own electric light plant, steam laundry and printing plant, where they print religious papers and tracts. This also is headquarters for missionairies, fifty or more having come and gone to foreign fields, some stopping briefly to recuperate and others to secure training. Elder Weavers made three trips to South Africa during, the past twenty years, preaching in Johannesburg and other places and on ship board. In 1902 he bought 140 acares of land in Natal, South Africa, and there established a church and mission, with a chapel and industrial school that is doing a good work among the natives
