George T. Norman
Tabor - Funeral services for George Thomas Norman, 78, were held Thursday afternoon from the Methodist church in Tabor. The Rev. Beryl Henderson of Farragut was in charge with the Rev. Clarence Thiele of the Tabor church assisting. Burial was in the Sidney cemetery.

George Thomas Norman son of James and Rebecca Norman was born on a farm in Mason county Illinois and died at his home in Tabor, Tuesday, 1944. He was married March 9, 1892 to Cora Elizabeth Howard daughter of the Rev. J.A. Howard, formerly of Sidney. To this union five children were born, one of whom preceded him in death.

Mr. Norman spent practically all of his life in Fremont and Page counties and was engaged in farming and livestock feeding.

There survive his widow, three sons, Clifford M. Norman of Omaha, Claude H. Norman of Oakland, Calif., F. Lowell Norman of Sidney, one daughter, Mrs. Leo Bartlett of Tabor, eight grandchildren, three of whom are serving in the armed forces, and three great-grandchildren.
