On Sunday, Jan. 8, 1893, at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Smith, one mile and a half north of Anderson, Iowa. Miles Robinson, of Tingley, Iowa and Miss Carrie J. Smith, of Anderson, Iowa with Rev. F. M. Weeks officiating.
The wedding was a quiet affair, only two or three intimate friends, aside from the families of the bride and groom having been invited. It was kept a secret too, in the neighborhood until after the ceremony was performed. The newly made man and wife will reside in Tingley, Iowa, where the good wishes of neighbors and friends follow them.
