In the name of God, Amen! I, Anthony Bruno of Fremont County and State of Iowa, of full age and being of sound mind do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say:
First, I give and bequeath to my wife Lydia Elizabeth Bruno and her heirs all of my real and personal estate after all of my debts are paid, described as follows: the south half of the southwest quarter of section twenty-four in township fifty-seven north of range forty-two west except twenty-five acres off of the west end, and the north part of the northeast fourth of the southwest quarter of section twenty-six in township sixty-seven, north of range forty-two west and bounded as follows, commencing at the northwest corner of the aforesaid fourth quarter section and running east eighty rods thence south fifty rods thence west thence west eighty rods thence north fifty rods to the place of beginning and containing twenty-five acres. And lastly I bequeath the rest of my personal estate to my said wife, Lydia Elizabeth Bruno whom I hereby appoint sole executrix of this my last will in witness whereof I have set my hand this seventh day of September in the year of our Lord, one thousand, eight hundred and fifty-nine.

The above instrument consisting of two sheets was at the date thereof signed and delivered by the said Anthony Bruno as and for his last will and testament in presence of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witness thereto.
