Their son Louis E., 28, born in Fremont county, now a minister in Council Bluffs, Iowa; married Viola C. Carter, 30, born in Page county, daughter of William B. Carter and Melcinia Mahon; married on June 30, 1904 in Page county.

N.B: My father's cousin, Bernice Higgins, married a brother of Louis. The High and Ripley families were some of the first settlers in Walnut township, along Walnut Creek.--W.F.
