Rev. John Zuck celebrated his eighty-third birthday Sunday, and as has been his custom for years, placed his pennies in the birthday box at the M. E. Sunday school. Imagine his surprise when he had about completed the task, to have a tier cake brought out, with lighted candles for each year.

Rev. F. G. Barnes made a short talk, to which Mr. Zuck responded, and the school sang “Happy Birthday.” The weather has nothing to do with Uncle John’s attendance at church, and he was on hand in spite of the cold snap.
