Friends here have received news of the wedding of Shuler Thacker, known to many Hamburg people . Shuler worked here for several years prior to his induction into the army and has just received his discharge from that branch of the service. The item follows:

Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Perry of Middlesboro, Kentucky, announce the marriage of their daughter, Ann to Merle Shuler Thacker of Greenville, Tenn. The wedding took place Jan. 14, at 7 p.m. at the Yellow Creek Baptist church with Rev. F. D. Robison officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Don Bailey of Tazewell, Tenn., were the attendants. Following a wedding trip, the couple will be at home in Middlesboro. Kentucky.
