NORA A. PIERSON -- Nora A. Pierson, son of James K and Ava Pierson, was born on Dec. 26, 1871 and died at Shenandoah, Iowa, on March 26, 1965 at the age of 93 years and 3 months.

He lived his entire life in Fremont County, living on a farm west of Sidney until 1939 when he moved to Sidney. On Dec. 27, 1892 he was united in marriage to Daisy Dell Wilson. To this union six children were born: Wayne of Thurman, Goldie Booten and Inez Ramsey of Shenandoah, Mildred Fredrickson of Sioux City and Dorothy Zach of Sidney. He was preceded in death by his wife and one son Hayden.

Mr. Pierson also is survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, a brother Lester of Burlington, Colo., and two sisters Mrs. May Abshire of Sidney and Queen Jordan of Chicago, IL.
