Funeral services for Mrs. Paul Bunte, 71 of rural Eldora, were held Monday, November 15 from the First Presbyterian Church in Dows. Mrs. Bunte died Thursday at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls. Interment was in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Dows with Boeke Funeral Home of Hubbard in charge of arrangements.

Edna Mae Bunte was born September 22, 1900 at Dows to William and Anne Edson Oleson. She married Paul Bunte in 1932 in Illinois. They have lived in the Alden and Eldora area since that time, including the last 12 years on the present farm.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother. Survivors include her husband; three sisters: Mrs. Francis Runnels of Nevada, Mrs. Earl Fitz of Iowa Falls and Mrs. Maynard Harty of Belmond.
