Last Rites Friday For Hampton Woman
Aged Franklin Co. Woman Passed Away Monday
Mrs. Anna H Rasmussen, age Ninety passed away Monday at the Lutheran Nursing Home in Hampton. Death was due to the complications of old age. Funeral services will be at 2:00 o’clock at St. John’s Lutheran church, southwest of Hampton, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. W.R. Garred will officiate at the last rites. The Green & Siestema funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rasmussen was born August 6, 1871, in Denmark, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Niels Pedersen. She came to America with her parents at the age of six months and spent most of her life in Franklin County.
She was married to Niels Rasmussen, December 23, 1865, at St. John’s Lutheran church. Mr. Rasmussen preceded her in death in January 1961. She had been a patient at the Lutheran Nursing home about two and one-half years.
Mrs. Rasmussen is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C.H. (Lillian) Baxter, of Seattle, Washington, and Mrs. Gould M. (Opal) Jones, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and two sons, Holger Rasmussen, of Latimer, and Harold Rasmussen, of Davenport. Also, surviving are nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, for sisters, and one son.

COULTER - Mrs. Anna H. Rasmussen, 90, Monday at the Lutheran nursing home in Hampton, where she had been a resident for the past two years; services Friday at 2 p. m. at St John's Lutheran church southeast of Coulter; burial in the church cemetery.
