Katherine Horslund Dies at Cedar Falls Cedar Falls Mrs. Katherine Horslund, 1011 Grove street, 81, died at her home at 8:30 a. m. Thursday. Born Feb. 28, 1864, in Denmark, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Petersen, she was betrothed to Rev. Thomas Horslund while in Denmark, and came to America in 1887, where the couple were married Oct. 2 of that year in Chicago, Illinois, Rev. Mr. Horslund died in 1894, when Mrs. Horslund came to Cedar Falls with her children, she was a member of Nazareth Lutheran church, Two children survive, Elvin H., 1524 Baltimore street, Waterloo, and Minnie, at home. There are three grandchildren. The body is at the Dahl funeral Home.
