Goldie Siems, 92, of Sheffield, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at the Sheffield Care Center.

Family graveside services will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Sheffield. Those wishing to share an expression of sympathy are invited to give a gift to the Sheffield EMS or Sheffield Fire Department Association in her memory.

Goldie T. Siems was born Feb. 7, 1925, in rural Cerro Gordo County, a daughter of John and Grace Florence (Shepard) Rieman. She attended country school and graduated from Sheffield High School.

On Oct. 10, 1948, Goldie was united in marriage with Dick Henry Siems at the EUB Church east of Sheffield. Devoted to her family Goldie raised her family and enjoyed the time spent with them. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and reading.

Goldie is survived by her son Ron (Judy) Siems, Sheffield; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother: Robert Rieman, Quincy, IL, and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, son Anthony Siems, brothers and sisters: Ruby, Doris, John Jr., Mildred, Harry and Louise.
