Jon was born October 28, 1965 the son of Keith and Julie (Shields) Emhoff in Mason City, Iowa. Jon grew up in Sheffield on his parent’s farm on the North side of town. Growing up on the farm is what sparked Jon’s interest in driving truck; just as Jon’s Dad (Keith) did. Jon bought his own truck and was on the road a lot. Being on the road is where Jon met many people. Many of these people becoming very good friends.

Family time was very important to Jon; especially his two sons. Jon loved to watch Cody farm and attended Clay’s senior baseball games. Jon was very proud of all achievements of his two boys. Jon looked forward to Sunday lunch as it would draw everyone together sharing good memories and there was always good food.

Those thankful for having shared in Jon’s life include his children, Cody (Amy) Emhoff, Clay Emhoff; brothers, Jim (Donna) Emhoff, Chad Emhoff, nieces and nephews, Jesse Emhoff, Nick Emhoff, Jake Emhoff, Brooke Emhoff, Brandon Emhoff; a great niece, Addison Emhoff, and many close friends.
