Dorothy May Shoemaker, 98, of Rockville, Maryland passed away October 23, 2017, at the Collingswood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Rockville, Maryland. She was born July 17, 1919, in Hampton, Iowa, to Vern & Anna (Lammers) Shoemaker. Dorothy graduated from Hampton High School then attended Broadlawns School of Nursing in Des Moines, Iowa and Cincinnati Bible Seminary in Cincinnati, Ohio. She worked as a registered nurse. Dorothy was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by nieces and nephews.
