In Memory Of Mrs. T.P. Johnson, Of Latimer
In the death of Mrs. T.P Johnson, who passed away on Saturday afternoon, July 16, 1927, Latimer lost one of its most highly esteemed women, a friend and neighbor who was always ready with a pleasant smile to help those in sickness or in trouble. The Latimer Park Society and Danish Sisterhood will especially miss this grand woman who as long as health permitted was a faithful attendant at meetings. The seven days suffering and pain of her last illness was borne patiently. She seemed just waiting for her Heavenly father to call her home.
Funeral services, held Tuesday afternoon, July 19, at 2 o'clock at her home, followed by services at St. John's Lutheran church in Hamilton township, conducted by Rev. F.G. Rasmussen, of Coulter, were largely attended.
Burial was made in St. John's church cemetery.A legion of friends sincerely mourn the death of this good woman and extend the deepest sympathy to the surviving husband, Postmaster T.P. Johnson, Mrs. O.N. Schultz, daughter, and two sons, Einer C. Johnson, of Eagle Grove, and Raymond A. Johnson, of Latimer, and other near relatives.
