Funeral Services Today For Mrs. Hans Jensen

Funeral services for Mrs. Hans (Helga) Jensen, Hampton, will be held this afternoon, Thursday, at St. John's Lutheran Church, southwest of Hampton. The Rev. Fred Ollendorf will officiate at the last rites and interment will be in the church cemetery. Green & Sietsema funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jensen passed away Monday morning at the Franklin General Hospital.

She was born June 22, 1897 in Heyls, Denmark, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nis Hansen. She came to the United States in 1921. On Feb. 27, 1923 she was married to Hans Jensen at Viborg, S.D., where they lived for 40 years, moving to Hampton in 1961.

Mrs. Jensen is survived by her husband; one son, Verner of Cedar Falls; and one daughter, Mrs. Fred Swihart of Lincoln, Neb., and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Hampton.
