Nels Jensen Called to His Final Rest
Last Rites to be Conducted This Afternoon

Nels Jensen, a resident of Franklin county for over forty years, died at the home of his son, Henry Jensen, in Hampton, last Monday after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Green funeral home at 1:30 o'clock and at St. John's Lutheran Church, southeast of Coulter, at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. G.E. Petersen, pastor.

The deceased was born July 21, 1873, at Skeva Yuland, Denmark, and came to the United States in 19 1894, and for a time was employed in farm work near Maxwell, Iowa.

He was united in marriage to Miss Ingeborg Anderson on November 20, 1902, and they operated a farm southwest of Hampton for many years, retiring in 1943 at which time they moved into Hampton.

Since the death of his wife, Mr. Jensen had made his home with his son Henry Jensen.

Mr. Jensen is survived by five children, Mrs. Ed Hansen, Evald Jensen, Henry Jensen, of Hampton, Peter Jensen, of Coulter, and Ingvardt Jensen, of Kansas City, and one brother, Chris J. Nielsen, of Hampton.
