Delores M. Jensen, 71, of Sterling, Ill. Died Friday, June 17, 1994 at home.

Funeral services were Monday, June 20, at the Melvin-Schilling Funeral home in Sterling with Rev. Gary Jaeckle officiating. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hampton, with the Rev. Joyce Guldager officiating. A memorial has been established to Whiteside County Hospice.

She was born July 13, 1922, in Hampton, the daughter of Nels and Ellen (Pedersen) Rasmussen.

She married Raymond F. Jensen on Aug. 23, 1942, in Colorado Springs, Colo.

She was a teacher at various schools in Iowa. She taught at Woodlawn school for 16 years and at Washington Elementary, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sterling.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Robert Jensen of Mesa, Ariz.; a daughter, Judy (Joe) Marchese of Cedar Falls; three sisters, Irma Andersen of Hampton, Ramona Golden of Cleveland, Ohio, and Dealta McKee of Chapin; and five grandchildren
