John Stadtlander Dies Suddenly; Last Rites Today.

John Stadtlander, age Fifty one passed away very suddenly Saturday evening, June 26, at the Franklin General Hospital. Death was atributed to a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held this Tuesday afternoon, at St John's Lutheran Church, southwest of Hampton. Rev. Leo Anderson will officiate at the last rites and interment will be in the church cemetery. The Green-Seitsema funeral home in charge on arrangements.

He was born January 9, 1920 in Wright County, the son of the late Mr. And Mr. Chris Stadtlander. He served in the armed services during world war II.

On November 30, 1945 he was married to Esther Jensen at St. John's Lutheran Church. They engaged in farming.

Mr. Stadlander is survied by his wife, one son, Arvin now in the U.S. Air Force and stationed in Almagordo, New Mexico, a daughter, Laura, at home; two brothers, Ben Stadlander, of Meservy, and Lambert Stadtlander, of Paramont, California, and six sisters, Mrs. Earl Floden, of Rock Island, Illinios, Mrs. Herman Koenen, of Meservey, Mrs. Donald Meints, of Meservey, Mrs. Merlin Kock, of Lakewood, California, mrs. Ralph Bahnsen, of Rockford, and Mrs. Annalein Roberts, of Webster City. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son.

He was a member of St John's Lutheran Church and the Hansen-Have American Legion Post, at Latimer.
