Henry Koenigsberg 1910-1959

KOENIGSBERG, KAITWASSER, PLAGGE, WILL

Henry Koenigsberg of Hampton, passed away early Wednesday morning at the University hospital, in Iowa City, at the age of forty-eight years. He had been ill for several months. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Koenigsberg farm home, and at 2:00 o'clock at the Evangelical and Reformed church, in Latimer. Rev. H.H. Schowe, pastor of the church will conduct the last rites and interment will be made in the Marion Center cemetery.

Henry F. Koenigsberg was born November 30, 1910, at Corona, South Dakota, the son of Reinhold and Carrie Kaitwasser Koenigsberg. He was united in marriage to Meta Plagge, February 27, 1931 and they made their home on a farm near Hampton.

He is survived by his wife and one daughter Marilyn Koenigsberg, of Hampton, his father, Reinhold R. Koenigsberg and his step-mother, Mrs. Ida Koenigsberg, of Coulter; three brothers, Fred Koenigsberg, of Liberty, Missouri, Riney Koenigsberg, of Coulter and Rolly Koenigsberg, of Santee, California, and one sister, Mrs. Hass (Mabel) Will, of Rockwell. He was preceded in death by one son, Donald Dean Koenigsberg, his mother, a brother and a sister.

Mr. Koenigsberg was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical and Reformed church of Latimer, and was serving as an elder on the Consistory.
