Dows - Funeral services for Frederick Lentz, 72, will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Vernon Lutheran Church with the Rev. K. Winterfield officiating. The Erickson Funeral Home, Dows, is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Vernon Lutheran Cemetery.

Mr. Lentz died Sunday in Phoenix, Ariz. He had lived there for the past several years. He had farmed for many years north of Blairsburg. He was born Sept. 1, 1884, in Johnson Creek, Wis.

Surviving are four daughters, Aletha Peterson, Dows; Doris Pahl, Webster City; Leora Hayden, Iowa Falls, and Valdine Dowles, Tucson, Ariz.; four sons, Edward Lentz, San Francisco; Marvin Lentz, Dows; Cecil Lentz, Phoenix, Ariz., and Charles Lentz, Webster City; two brothers and two sisters.

His wife died in 1946.
