Latimer - Funeral services for Mrs. Sena Koenen, victim of an automobile accident Sept. 21, were held Saturday afternoon at the Zion Reformed church nar Chapin, with the Rev. Johann Schmidt in charge, assisted by the Rev. C.J. Barth. Burial was made in cemetery adjoining the church.

Mrs. Koenen was born in Germany May 7, 1877, and came to America when 7 years of age.

Surviving are three sons, Harm, Pete and Henry of Latimer, and five daughters, Mrs. Grace Schroeder and Mrs. Rebecca Muhlenbruck of Chapin, Mrs. Anna Barth and Mrs. Harvey Holze of Latimer and Mrs. Johanna Haeford of Rockwell.

Mr. Koenen preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1935 and since she had made her home in Latimer.

Rites were held also for Duane Harlan Holze, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Holze, killed in the accident in which his grandmother died. Funeral services were held at the Zion Reformed church near Chapin and burial was made in the Marion Center cemetery. The Rev. Johnann Schmidt of Chapin and the Rev. C.J. Barth of Hampton were in charge of the funeral services.
