Ezra B. Troutner died in Mason City where he had been a patient since October 9th.

He was skilled in his profession as printer, having been employed in all of the shops in Charles City at one time or another during his more than 50 years residence here. His home was 1101 East Clark street.

He was born Jan. 30, 1868, in Omaha, Neb., a son of Andrew and Frances Redman Troutner. In October of 1893 he was united in marriage to Myrtie May Allen* in Charles City. Eight children were born to this union who survive. His wife has preceded him in death.

Survivors are: Harl E. Troutner, Davenport, Ia.: Mrs. Tony Ziebarth, Rockford, Ia.: Mrs. Otis Prescott, Alden, Ia.: Jess Troutner, Charles City: Mrs. Jack Newell, Davenport: Mrs. Lou Ellen Madden, Hampton, Ia.: George Troutner, Miami, Florida: John Troutner in New Guinea. There are 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. One brother Jess B. Troutner, Marshalltown, also survives.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00pm at the Hauser Funeral Home with the Rev. Amos A. Burr, pastor of the First Christian church officiating. Interment will be in Riverside cemetery.

*correct name is Myrtie May Albert per marraige certificate and numerous birth & death certificates.
