Stock Buyer Suicides.
Charles City, Dec. 13.—B. C. Powers of Powersville, one of the most prominent and extensive live stock and grain dealers in northern Iowa, committed suicide yesterday afternoon by hanging himself to a rafter in his barn. He has been complaining of sickness the past week and this probably is what prompted the deed. Mr. Powers lived at Powersville for over thirty years. He had a wife and five children.

Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Powersville and was born in 1849.
