March 15, 1942 - January 13, 2019
ROCKFORD, IOWA - Mary Miller, 76, of Rockford, died Sunday (January 13, 2019) at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa in Mason City, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St. NE, Mason City, with Pastor Mike Daley officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford. Mary would prefer you wear blue jeans to her funeral service.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorials are suggested to Mary's family.
Mary Miller was born on March 15, 1942 in Rockford to Walter and Lillian (Linderkamp) Gruver. She attended and graduated from Rockford High School.
Mary worked for Curries for 23 years, retiring in 2012. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, and being outside on her porch, knitting, quilting and embroidery. Mary was very loving and caring, always helping those who needed it.
She is survived by her sons, John (Shawn) Miller Jr., Dougherty, and Daniel (Julie) Miller, Rockford; her grandchildren, Mindy Johnson, Mason City, Dean Nicholson, and Dustin Nicholson both of Rockford, Micki (Bruce) Neuhalfen, Kris (Kristi) Blackdeer, Cody Blackdeer, and Kelsey (Steven) Blackdeer great-grandchildren, Kylie, Makyla and Landen Johnson, and many other great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Marilyn (Ken Jr.) Silker, Vinton, IA, Marlys Andrew, Moline, IL, and Marian (Tom) Stufflebeam, Rockford.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lillian (Linderkamp) Gruver, her son, Scott Allan Miller, a brother-in-law, John Andrew and a grandson, Klint Blackdeer.
