May 8, 1953 - January 12, 2019

Bruce W. “Auger” Ueker, 65, of Nora Springs, Iowa, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the Nora Springs Community Center, 16 S Summit Ave, Nora Springs. He will be laid to rest at Park Cemetery, Nora Springs.

Bruce Wayne Ueker was born May 8, 1953 in Mason City, Iowa, to Wayne and Dawn (Marshall) Ueker. He grew up in Nora Springs, graduating from Nora Springs-Rock Falls High School. In 1977, Bruce and Margaret met and have been together since. Two daughters completed their family.

Auger was a fun-loving person who enjoyed bowling, golfing, and gravel travel. He was a Cubs fan “before it was cool” and was always up for a game of cards.

Left to cherish his memory are his “Bride”, Margaret; daughters, Shannon Ueker of Fargo, ND and Lona (Kris) Arthur of Mason City; his sister, Jodi Ueker of Nora Springs; nephew Bobby Ueker of Mason City; and those lucky enough to have known him as Auger.

Preceding him in death are his parents.
