Beverly June Stone

August 10, 1934 - April 3, 2018

MASON CITY, IOWA – Beverly June Stone, 83, of Nora Springs, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

A celebration of life for Beverly and William Stone will be held at a later date this summer.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Beverly was born August 10, 1934 in Hebron, NE., daughter of Luke and Mildred (Lindhom) Cox. She attended High School in Hebron, NE. After high school, she moved to Hastings, NE., married William Stone, who passed on January 25, 2018, and to this union three children was born.

Beverly and William moved to Mason City in 1968 to raise their family. She worked various jobs in the Mason City area.

She enjoyed being outside and enjoying riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh, kindness for animals and love for her flowers. Beverly took delight in spending time with her family and friends.

Beverly is survived by her three children, Maggie Adams, Robert (Alice) Stone and Diane (Jim) Heaverlo; seven grandchildren, Lori (Tom) Pagel, Cassie (Justin) Helland, Ryan (Lisa) Stone, Jacob Stone, Jennie (Andy) Uthoff, Emily (Kyle) Swenson, Maddie Heaverlo; twelve and half great grandchildren; one sister and extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Mildred Cox; husband, William Stone; five sisters and four brothers.
