Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2017 at Hauser Funeral Home and will continue one hour before the funeral service on Tuesday

Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City

Louis Bouillon, 63, of Charles City, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family.

A funeral service for Louis Bouillon will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Hauser Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Phillips of Gospel Lighthouse Church of Floyd officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

Visitation will be at Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 11 and will continue one hour before the funeral service on Tuesday.

Louis Oltman Bouillon, the son of Ransom and Jennie (Janssen) Bouillon, was born August 29, 1954 in Charles City, Iowa. He attended schools in Charles City. On August 22, 1975 Louis married Susan Fisher in Charles City and had two children. The couple later divorced. Louis married Barbara Putney on January 30, 1986 in Charles City, Iowa and had three children.

Louis worked in construction, worked at the Marble Rock Coop, and worked for farmers. He was also a truck driver for Heartland, Carlson's, and Rausch Bros. Louis loved horses and ponies and did chuck wagon racing. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and grandkids.

Living family members include his loving wife Barb; children: Ty (Michelle) Bouillon of Charles City, Keri (Mike) Hollatz of Osage, Chad Bouillon of Charles City, Lacey (Curt) Thompson of Ionia, and Cody Bouillon of Charles City; siblings: Joyce (Cal) Wood of Ionia, Jerry (Marilyn) Bouillon of Greene, Mary Mooberry of Charles City, and Kandi Eddy of Melcher; brother-in-law Darrell Schmidt of Franklin, Tennessee; sister-in-law Connie Bouillon of Nashua; grandchildren: Reagan, Will, and Sadie Hollatz of Osage, Addie, Peyton and Emma Thompson of Ionia, and Makenna Bouillon of Nashua; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; brother Denny Bouillon; sister JoAnn Schmidt; two brothers-in-law Bill Mooberry and DeWayne Eddy.
