Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Faith Baptist Church in Hampton, Iowa, with Pastor David Koenigsberg officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton, Iowa. Burial will take place in the Hampton Cemetery.

Shirley M. Pals, 81, of Hampton, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City, Iowa.

She was born September 5, 1936, to Dale and Garnet (Decker) Duryee in Rockford, Iowa.

Shirley is survived by her husband Ronald D. Pals of Hampton, son Mike (Marcee Sidmore) Pals of Hampton, daughter Jan (Dale) Hoffmann of Prairie City, and son Dwight Pals of Prairie City.
