U.S. VETERAN

September 17, 1966 - June 26, 2017

Donald T Squier, age 50, died on June 26, 2017 at St Mary Corwin Medical Center, Pueblo, Colorado. He was born in Charles City, IA, on September 17, 1966 to Raymond and Linda (Nash) Squier. He graduated in 1985 from North Central High School in Manly; and joined the US Navy in 1987. He served for 6 years on the USS America.

He married Lynn Tomlinson on November 17, 1990, in Manchester, England. Don and Lynn have three sons; Zachary, who is attending CSU-Pueblo, Matthew who recently graduated Rye High School, and Benjamin who is still attending Rye in 11th grade.

Don was employed at Holcim as an electrician for 13 years. Don had a strong passion for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He loved spending time with his boys and Lynn, camping, and playing board games and cards. He had an outrageous sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He smiles with his eyes. Babe, our hearts are broken but we know you are dancing with the Lord. We love you to the moon and back.

Don is survived by his loving wife Lynn, of 26 years; his three sons: Zach, Matt, and Ben, his father Raymond and stepmum Sandy; his brothers: Anthony (Susie) Squier, of Montana, Jason (Amy) Squier, of Arizona, and Nathan Squier, of Le Mars, Iowa; and by his sisters: Angela (Loren) Lienemann, Dows, Iowa, Kathleen (Ryan) Gaetzke, of Kensett, Iowa, Amanda (Anthony) Ginapp, of Mason City, Iowa, and Trisha (Gordon) Culley, of Mason City. Don is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mum, Linda, his grandparents and his cousin Christopher.

A celebration of life service will be held at Rocky Mountain Family Church, 1700 Horseshoe Dr., Pueblo, Colorado on Monday July 3rd at 11:00.
