MASON CITY, IOWA - William Lee Hickman, 71, of Charles City, and formerly of Mason City, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017, at his home with his wife, Diana by his side.

A Trisagion Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City, with Father Joseph Mirowski and Father Basil Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2017, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel in Mason City.

Family suggests memorial contributions to the William Hickman Memorial Fund.

Will was born November 8, 1945, the son of William and Ruth (Keim) Hickman in Belmar-Neptune, N.J. He married Diana Gomez on January 7, 2017, in Mason City, after being together for 11 years. He was united in marriage to Cristine "Tina" Montealvo and to this union three children were born. He later married Pam Revaux and to that union two children were born.

Will grew up and attended school in Manasquan, N.J. For most of his life, he worked in masonry, helping build many buildings in North Iowa and in the Minneapolis area. He was also a bouncer in New Jersey and Iowa and a policeman in Hampton and Clear Lake.

Will enjoyed reading, weightlifting, playing rugby when he was younger, and riding his Harley-Davidson. He was a member at Iron House Gym as well as Anytime Fitness in Mason City. Saturday afternoons he liked to listen to gospel music.

Will is survived by his wife, Diana Hickman of Charles City; his lap dog, Gomez; five children: Fr. Basil "Eric" (Efsthathia) Hickman of Des Moines, Shannon (Lisa) Hickman of Clear Lake, Kirsten (Neeraj) Shah of Keller, TX, Seth (Emi) Hickman of Oceanside, CA, and Kate (Leslie) Revaux of Iowa City; six grandchildren, Christina, Alexandra, Aaron, Evelyn, Alex, and Seth, Jr; and his father and stepmother, William (Ruth) Hickman of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Ann Hickman.
