James "Jim" Scott Martinson was born to Sharon (Ervin) Martinson on July 25, 1967 in International Falls, Minnesota. Jim attended school in Charles City and graduated from Charles City High School. He was a hard worker and held jobs as a restaurant manager and as a factory laborer, most recently at Simply Essentials. Jim's heart belonged to his family and his mustang (Eleanor).
He loved playing cards, especially poker in Las Vegas. Jim was a big fan of the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan. He was also a huge Minnesota Vikings fan, even naming his beloved dog A.P. after a member of the team. His grandkids were his whole world, and Jim would have happily spent every day with them. His grandson Casen will always remember going to the movies with Papa.
Jim is survived by his wife Tabatha; children: Reva Holtz, Jordan (Lacey) Martinson, and Zowie (Raven) Martinson-Carda; grandkids: Casen Holtz, Draya Holtz, Ivee Holtz, and one more on the way; siblings: Geno (Corrina) Cochran, Joe (Tammy) Martinson, Theresa Martinson, Kelly Martinson, and Randy (Cara) Martinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
