Mr. Rueben Kelly, of the 12th Infantry, U.S.A., was killed at the battle of Wilderness, in Virginia, May 5th. He was recruited by Lieut. Dewey, of this city, in 1861, and had participated in all the battles of the Army of the Potomac since that time. His home was Charles City, Floyd Co., where his parents reside.
