SID OHM DIES;
RITES PLANNED
SATURDAY

Sid V. Ohm, 66, a lifelong resident of Floyd, [Iowa], died this morning shortly after being admitted to the Floyd County Memorial Hospital. He has been in failing health for some time.

Sidney Virgil Ohm was born June 25, 1902, at Floyd, the son of Gus F. and Minerva Scott Ohm. September 17, 1935, he married Ethel Jones at the the Little Brown Church. Mr. Ohm owned and operated the Saddle Shop in Floyd for many years. He was a member of the Grace Methodist Church at Floyd.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel; a son, Ronald, Ann Arbor, Michigan; an aunt, miss Minnie Ohm, Charles City, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services are tentatively set for 2 p.m., Saturday at the Hauser Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery near Floyd. The Hauser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
