Avery “Levi” B. Tyler – September 21, 1838 – March 19, 1917

Avery B. Tyler died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. G. Ramsay Monday afternoon at two o’clock, just two weeks after the death of his wife, who also passed away on Monday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock.

He leaves to mourn his loss, one son and 4 daughters, besides a host of friends. Three daughters have been tenderly caring for him since the death of his wife, namely, Mrs. Harvey Inman, of Oelwein, Mrs. Gertrude Vandewalker, of Canby, Minnesota, and Mrs. Ramsay of this place.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ramsay
