ROCKFORD, IOWA - Richard Dean “Dick” Graham, 75, of Rockford, died Friday, May 1, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at the First United Methodist Church, 21 3rd St. N.W., Rockford.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at the First United Methodist Church. The Reverend Judy Wooton will be officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City.

Dick was born on June 25, 1939, in Mason City to Fredrick and Jenny (Marroni) Graham. Dick graduated from Mason City High School in 1957. After graduation he attended Hamilton Business College in Mason City. He was also a member of the National Guard.

On March 11, 1974, he was united in marriage to Beverly (Reams) McRoberts. Together they resided in Rockford. Throughout his life he had his own upholstery business and also worked several jobs which included working at CNW Railroad, Christen Brothers Construction, Rockford Light Plant, and retired from AMPI in 2002.

In his free time he enjoyed camping, woodworking, spending time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren and taking pictures. Dick also liked driving around town on his “route” in Rockford, where he would meet and greet anyone and everyone along the way. Dick will be remembered for his jokester personality and humor he brought into the lives of his loved ones.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 41 years, Beverly Graham; children, Debra Engels, Janet (David) Fullerton and Gary McRoberts; sister, Patty (Ivan) Meints; grandchildren, Jason (Amber) Engels, Alan Engels, Carson Engels, Serena (Eric) Staudt, Mikayla (Steven) Catlett Engels, Laura (Dustin) Howe, Jennifer (Jake) Hemann, Marc Fullerton, Amy Fullerton, Shane McRoberts, Nathan (Jackie) McRoberts and Lance (Dakota Pingel) McRoberts; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Lawler, Heidi, Dylan, Cole and Abby Howe, Jace Graham Hemann, Kiersten, Hayden and Morgan McRoberts and Brooklyn McRoberts and longtime family friend, Danny Paulus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mom, Hal Graham; brother, Jimmy Graham; and son-in-law, John Engels.
