Sybil Jane (Mitchell) Leaman – January 16, 1853 – November 9, 1908

MRS. J. S. LEAMAN DEAD

Word was received here Monday morning that Mrs. James Leaman had passed away at her home in Cedar Falls at an early hour that morning, and her death came as quite a surprise to most of the Nashua people.

About a year ago she suffered a stroke of paralysis, and she never was well after that.
The deceased was married to James Leaman, of this city, at Charles City, about four years ago, and they made their home here until about two years ago, when they moved to Cedar Falls where she conducted a millinery store.

The remains were taken to Rockford Tuesday for burial.
