Beulah Melvina (Hirsch) DeMars – November 5, 1910 – February 15, 2006

MADISON - Beulah DeMars, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at Meriter Hospital.
She was born on Nov. 5, 1910, in Charles City, Iowa, the daughter of Irving and Mary (Witter) Hirsch. Beulah graduated from Central High School, Sheboygan.

She was united in marriage to Westly DeMars, in Dubuque, Iowa, on July 25, 1930. Beulah was a resident of Madison, for more than 58 years.

She is survived by her son, Donald (Frances) DeMars of Columbus; her daughter, Judith Parsons of Madison; five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Westly; a son, Richard; sister, Melba Wolfert; brother, Kenneth; son-in-law, Gayle Parsons; and grandson, Richard Parsons.

Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, with the Rev. Keith G. Schroerlucke presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
