Ralph Blackwell Trevett – July 5, 1879 – February 15, 1961
FORMER NORA SPRINGS MAN DIES IN KANSAS
Nora Springs – Word has been received of the death of Ralph Trevett, February 15th, at his home in Kansas City, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife, Marie and two daughters, both of whom are married and have families.
A son of Frank Trevett, one of the early settlers in Nora Spring, Ralph was born and raised here. He went to Kansas City many years ago and was employed in the post office there, retiring after 50 years service.

"Ralph B. Trevett Retires After 44-Year Tenure
Ralph B. Trevett, 14 East Twelfth Street, retires today from the postal service after working forty-four years in that department. He has been ill for the last thirteen weeks and confined to the home.
Mr. Trevett was born in Nora Springs, Ia., and came to Kansas City when he was about 21 years old. He was employed as a clerk for forty years in the post office sub-station at Fourteenth Street and Grand avenue. He was transferred to the main office at 315 West Pershing Road about four years ago.
Mr. Trevett and his wife, Mrs. Marie Trevett, have two daughters, Mrs. Darrell Smith, 4728 Summit Street, and Mrs. Albert Hann, Holton, Kansas, and four grandchildren

He married Marie Newberry.
