MRS. THOMAS J. WHELAN

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Mrs. Thomas J. Whelan, 65, died yesterday morning at Floyd County Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for five weeks.

Services at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Immaculate Conception. Catholic Church. Rosary at 3 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home. Scripture service at 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m.. today.

Survivors are her husband; a son, Thomas Jr., of Austin, Minnesota; three daughters: Mrs. Milton Brandau, Charles City, Mrs. Roger Eckenrod, Waseca, Minnesota, and Miss Rita Whelan, Minneapolis, Minnesota; two brothers, Virgil Schlader, of Charles City, and Conrad Schlader, of Denver, Colorado; and 15 grandchildren.
