CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Leonard O. Koehler, 86, of Charles City, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, at his home of natural causes.

Survivors include his wife, Billie.

Services at 1:30 p.m. today at Hauser Funeral Home, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, both in Charles City; there will be a flag presentation at the graveside by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

Mr. Koehler served as a truck driver in the 52nd Armored Infantry Battalion of the U.S. Army during World War II, where he received a purple heart.
