IOWA DEATHS

Funeral services are tentatively set for Wednesday afternoon at the Hauser Funeral home for Arvid Nelson, 57, who died Saturday afternoon at the Cedar Valley hospital, where he had been admitted the day before, death was attributed to a heart attack; was an employee of the Oliver Corp. from 1929 to 1941. In 1941 he was injured at the plant and forced to undergo the amputation of one leg at the knee, after which he operated a shoe repair shop until about two years ago, born in Sweden, June 23, 1893, never married.
