Phyllis McDougall 1919-2005

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Phyllis E. McDougall, 85, of the Standard Assisted Living at the Western Home, died Friday, July 8, 2005, at the Western Home Martin Center.

She was born November 21, 1919, in Charles City, Iowa, the daughter of Jacob L. and Katherine E. VerHoven Gange. She married Robert D. McDougall on May 12, 1946, in Chicago. Mrs. McDougall was a homemaker.

Survived by her husband of Cedar Falls; a son, Dennis M. (Bonnie) of Colfax; a daughter, Nancy E. (John) Miller of Waterloo; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gange; and a sister, Gertrude Ableiter.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday at the Western Home Chapel, Cedar Falls, with burial at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Friends may call for an hour before services Monday at the Western Home. Garden View Chapel, Waterloo, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the Western Home.
