IN MEMORIAM

Mrs. Jane Jenet Bell was born in ?mmoor, Ireland, December 20th, 1833 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Vickers, in Shenandoah, Iowa, June 21st, 1908.

She was married to A. R. Van Myers, at Ogdensberg, New York, April 19, 1856. Mr. Van Myers died in Marble Rock, August 18, 1880.

Five children were born to this union; Carrie M. Morse, Hanna Wallace, Adelia Vickers, A. R. Van Myers, Jr., and Susie Vickers.

The remains were brought to Marble Rock, and laid at rest beside her husband. The funeral services were held at the M.E. Church, Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Sheckler officiating. The deceased was a member of the Episcopal church.

Her life was gentle, but like the still waters it was deep. In her heart of heart she carried those she loved, and her hand was never weary, her step never failed in ministering unto caring for, waiting upon those who were in any way dependent upon her.
