Miss Augusta A. Bedell was born at West Fort Asa, N.Y., October 2nd 1823. Moved to Illinois with her parents in 1854, was married to Orin Stilson, December 15th, 1848, moved to Franklin county, Iowa, resided there until her death, which occurred July 7th, 1893. She leaves a husband and five children. Funeral was conducted by Rev. W.N. Brown, Saturday afternoon, in M.E. Church.

She was buried in the Hillside Cemetery, Marble Rock, Iowa.
