Mary C. Bakeman
ROCKFORD - Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Weaver Wilcox Funeral Home in Rockford for Mary Catherine Bakeman, 91, who died at her home Sunday.

Elder Robert Goransson, pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Mason City, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Rockford.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Orlo Gifford in 1900, and by her husband, Charles Bakeman in 1939.

Eight children survive. They are: Ray Gifford, Mesa, Ariz., Jay Gifford, Manly; LaVern Bakeman, Rockford; Delbert Bakeman, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Leo Clark, Britt; Mrs. Roy Peet*, Mrs. Kenneth Fox and Mrs. Ray Gardner, all of Waterloo.

*In Hazel Bakeman's obituary, Mrs. Roy Peet's last name was listed as Peep.
