W.R. THIELE, 75, DIES IN HOSPITAL

Leaves Wife, Two Sons and Three Daughters

ROCKFORD - W. R. Thiele, 75 years old, died Saturday morning at an Iowa City hospital of a heart attack following a major operation. He had lived here for 29 years, and had been engaged in the real estate business.

He was born in Germany and came to the United States at the age of 22, settling in Illinois. Mr. Theile lost his sight 12 years ago.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Henry Salier of Rockford; Mrs. Simon Arges of Freeport Ill., and Johanna at home; two sons, Everett of Rockford, and Fred of Marble Rock.

The funeral arrangements are incomplete, pending word from relatives. The Rev. Fred Darnauer has charge.
