CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Services for Dean J. Slagle, 65, who died Wednesday, October 1, 1986, at his home, were Saturday at First Congregational Church, Charles City. Burial was in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, Charles City.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy; two sons, Lyle of Urbandale and Michael of Wellman; a daughter, Sue Foutch of Des Moines; two grandchildren; a brother, Phillip Slagle of Falls City, Nebraska, and three sisters: Evelyn Garrett of Glenwood, Janice Crose of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Marilyn Slagle of Council Bluffs.

He was preceded in death by an infant son and an infant daughter;

Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Slagle was a research chemist for Salsbury Laboratories, Charles City.
